Peter Spalding bough 175 acres of land called Three Brothers in St. Mary's
County in 1739. Peter and his wife, Elizabeth, testified in the suit brought
by his niece, Mary (Spalding) Carter, against her brother, John Spalding, over
the possession of a slave.

Peter and Edward Spalding signed the inventory of their brother, John Spalding
of Charles County, MD, as next of kin on 1 November 1726.
